HUMANS: OVERVIEW
This species is often called the "vanilla" species of the galaxy because of their lack of notable traits or special abilities. They evolved on a planet called Earth (or Terra), one of only three homeworlds not controlled by a unified political entity. Earth's dramatic variety of ecosystems may explain the Human ability to adapt to a wide variety of planets. Therefore, there are many planets where humans are found, but few where they represent a sizable portion of the population.
